The House of Commons Select Committee on The Green Economy asked for evidence from industry regarding how improvements in energy efficiency can be achieved. There is currently no serious advice from any organisation regarding the damage hard water scaling causes. Energy, water and raw materials are being wasted on a massive scale (no pun intended), through lack of water treatment on heating and cooling systems.
